Embedded Exhibitions

Darwin and Dinosaurs Darwin & Dinosaurs® is designed to teach as well as entertain, and is built around a specific narrative with specific teaching objectives. Hungry Birds, the exhibit’s signature touchscreen game, was designed for kids 6-12 and is recommended by the NSTA. D&D offers lesson plans for middle school classes built around game and aligned to the K12 curriculum.

This is the first and best traveling exhibition featuring items from historically important and private collections of Charles Darwin artifacts. Collectively, the exhibit components produce an inspiring, educational and rare opportunity for visitors. The exhibit features a complete selection of First Edition books, tools, personal hand-written letters, papers, maps, lectures and more. These Darwin materials (valued at well over $1,000,000) are traveling together for the first time ever in this exhibition. Coupled with this extensive collection are historically significant fossil specimens, some of the first dinosaurs known to science, and other exciting mounted specimens illustrating observations made, and ideas proposed by Darwin himself.

Savage Ancient Seas Collage Savage Ancient Seas® is the world of the Late Cretaceous Period, filled with huge carnivorous marine reptiles with double-hinged jaws and teeth in the middle of their palates, gigantic flesh-eating fish big enough to swallow an entire adult human, flying reptiles with 3 foot skulls and the biggest sea turtles to have ever lived. Unrivaled for their amazing varieties, voracious appetites, incredible teeth and gaping jaws, the creatures of the Savage Ancient Seas® are unlike anything known in today's world!
